Beddington is the third smallest organized town in Maine and has a population of less than 100 people. Known for its wild blueberries and outdoor recreation, this is the place to disappear from the crowds. The Schoodic Peninsula is about an hour away, making a daytrip to this part of Acadia National Park an easy drive.  Machias, the county seat is under an hour away and has some of the best seafood restaurants in Maine.  There is a small store and restaurant in Beddington so you don’t have to drive far if you don’t want to.  This is a rare find in Maine.
