The soil maps of the property indicate that the predominant soil is quite rich providing a good environment for timber and crop growth.  The neighboring properties that are used for growing potatoes, oats, hay and more highlight the quality soils of the area.  The USDA soil maps indicate that nearly 100% of the parcel has soil that can handle intense farming.  The soils are described as gravely loams with 2-8% slopes.  Clearing more of the acreage over time would yield very good crop land to add to the nearly 20 acres of currently cleared acreage.  Having wooded land with good soils produces healthy stands of timber.  This is a great parcel of land, located in a beautiful part of the state.  Call today to make it yours!
